From now on, it shall be spelled "Byrdie." I believe I saw this on ESPN's Top Ten plays. (Also, Patrick Stewart's voiceover on the National commercial was worth the play all by itself. :-) )
Apparently, the other two guys had not yet hit – and then they both hit it in the water! The other interesting thing is that it was apparently much darker than it looks in the video. Modern TV cameras are very good at shooting in low light.
